At Cheer For a Cure OK, our goal is to create a positive and encouraging environment for all participants, especially our youngest cheerleaders. Therefore, Kindergarten and 1st grade teams are strictly designated as show teams. This policy is designed to give these young teams an opportunity to perform in front of an audience and gain confidence, without the pressure of competition. Starting in 2nd grade, teams have the opportunity to compete against other teams. This approach helps ensure that all participants have a fun, supportive, and developmentally appropriate experience at our event.

New this year, 2nd grade teams will not be considered show teams. Due to the overwhelming interest from 2nd grade teams to compete against their peers, we have decided to move them from show teams to allow them to compete in team categories. This change was implemented to ensure that 2nd grade teams have the opportunity to compete on a level playing field against their peers, rather than having to compete "up" against 3rd grade teams. This adjustment aims to enhance the competitive experience for younger participants and align with their skill level more appropriately.

Yes! We encourage teams to register as soon as possible to secure their spot, as space is limited and we may reach capacity. You can register now and pay later, but please note that payment must be received on or before October 1, 2025 to confirm your participation and avoid any late fees. This ensures we can plan effectively for the event and provide the best experience for all participants.

Each team receives 2 coach passes with their initial registration. If you need additional passes, you're in luck! You can purchase an extra 2 passes when you register, bringing the total to 4 coach passes per team. Please note, due to space restrictions in the warm-up area and to ensure a smooth experience for all teams, we cannot provide more than 4 passes per team. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us create a fantastic event for everyone involved!
