Can we use glitter at the event? No, the UMAC does not allow glitter of any kind in their facilities. This includes hair glitter, face glitter, spray glitter, and any other form of applied glitter. If your uniforms and bows are manufactured with glitter designs, those are perfectly acceptable! Let's cheer with sparkle in our hearts, even if it's not in our hair! Thank you for helping us keep the venue clean and enjoyable for everyone.

Can I enter the seating area during a performance? To avoid distracting the athletes and to make sure everyone has a clear view, we ask that you wait until a performance has ended before entering the seating area. Each routine lasts only about 2 1/2 minutes, and a CFAC staff member will be stationed at the entrance to let you know when it's okay to enter. A quick wait helps keep the energy high and the view clear for everyone! Thank you for doing your part to support the athletes!

Are parents allowed in the warm-up room or on the floor during performances?Unfortunately, parents are not allowed in the warm-up room or on the floor during performances. Only coaches with a CFAC coach pass have access to these areas. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of all our athletes and to respect other teams who are practicing and performing. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a secure and respectful environment for everyone involved in the event!

Can I register now and pay later?Yes! We encourage teams to register as soon as possible to secure their spot, as space is limited and we may reach capacity. You can register now and pay later, but please note that payment must be received on or before October 1, 2025 to confirm your participation and avoid any late fees. This ensures we can plan effectively for the event and provide the best experience for all participants.

How many coach passes can I purchase for my team? Each team receives 2 coach passes with their initial registration. If you need additional passes, you're in luck! You can purchase an extra 2 passes when you register, bringing the total to 4 coach passes per team. The timing for each routine begins with the first sound or movement and concludes with the last sound or movement. What kind of stunts and tumbling are allowed? We follow INFC guidelines for all stunts and tumbling to ensure safety and compliance. This means only approved stunts and tumbling techniques are permitted during our events. If you are unsure about the legality of a particular stunt, please send a video of the stunt to info@cheerforacureok.com, and one of our experienced judges will review it to confirm whether it meets the guidelines. Safety is our top priority, so we appreciate your diligence in checking before your performance. Let's cheer enthusiastically while keeping everyone safe!

How are teams divided into small and large divisions? We generally consider teams with 15 or fewer athletes as "small", but divisions are based on the number of teams entered in each category. If there are three or fewer teams in a category, they may be combined (regardless of size) to ensure a fair and competitive experience. Because of this, a team might compete as "small" in one category and "large" in another. We use our best judgement to keep things balanced and competitive across the board.

How do I connect my music and who stops/starts it?Our DJ will have connectors available for both iPhone and Android phones, so you do not need to bring any additional connectors for your music. It is the responsibility of the team coach to start and stop the music during the performance. We recommend that one coach manages the music while another coach is positioned in front of the mat to assist the team. Please ensure that your phone is set to airplane mode to prevent any interruptions during the performance.
