Frequently asked questions
Where should I park?
Free weekend street parking is available all around the venue, but spots fill up quickly during major events. If you cannot find an open street spot, use these primary parking alternatives nearby:Civic Centre Parkade: This is an adjacent, multi-level parking garage located at 550 W 3rd St, Tulsa, OK 74103. It is managed by American Parking and typically costs around $10 to $20 depending on the event. The entrance to the convention center is less than 300 feet away from this garage. On-Street Metered Parking: Free all day on Saturday and Sunday along W 3rd St, W 4th St, and S Houston Ave. Surface Lots: Multiple private paid lots surround the facility and the neighboring BOK Center. Rates fluctuate based on the specific event schedule.
Can we use glitter at the event?
No, glitter is not allowed at the event. This includes hair glitter, face glitter, spray glitter, and any other form of applied glitter. If your uniforms and bows are manufactured with glitter designs, those are perfectly acceptable! Let's cheer with sparkle in our hearts, even if it's not in our hair! Thank you for helping us keep the venue clean and enjoyable for everyone.
Are parents allowed in the warm-up room or on the floor during performances?
At Cheer For a Cure OK, only coaches who possess a valid CFAC coach pass are permitted access to the warm-up room. This policy is carefully implemented to ensure the safety of all athletes and to maintain respect for other teams as they practice. For parents and family members, we provide a designated viewing area that offers the best possible vantage point to watch your child’s team during their performance. We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in following these guidelines, as they help us create a safe and supportive environment for everyone involved.
